Mijn grootste plezier ligt erin om in huis een sfeer te maken waar mijn gezin graag naar thuiskomt. Dat je door de deur komt en je het gevoel hebt dat er een warme deken over je schouders heen valt. En als er dan op de laatste bladzijde van de GoodFood van februari een recept staat waarbij staat "a gorgeous bake to come home to", nou dan MOET ik dat natuurlijk maken! En dan is het ook nog een recept voor
banana bread. Dat stond al heel lang op mijn verlanglijstje om ooit nog eens te maken.
Ook het dienblad heeft weer een metamorfose gehad; valentijnsdag komt eraan. Dan mag het even "over the top"!

My biggest joy is to make an atmosphere at home that makes my family happy to come home to. That you come through the door and get the feeling of a warm blanket falling over your shoulders. And when I see a recipe on the last page of GoodFoods februari issue with the sentence "a gorgeous bake to come home to" above it, well than I HAVE to make it! And on top of it, it is a recipe for banana bread. That was on my wish list for recipes to make for a long time.
My table has had a make-over aswell; valentines day is coming. It is allowed to make it "over the top"!
How do you make a warm atmosphere in your home? Any ideas for a top 10?
