Voorleesontbijt / Reading-breakfast

Deze week staat in het teken van het de nationale voorleesweek. Die is gisteren begonnen met een "voorleesontbijt". Mijn zoon mocht in zijn pyama naar school en kreeg daar een croissantje en werd voorgelezen. Dat was natuurlijk reuze spannend! Er is deze week een leuk boekje voor 5 euro te koop "Fiet wil rennen" met de DVD achterin. Ik vind het een heel leuk idee, omdat voorlezen op deze manier gestimuleerd wordt en kinderen zien dat lezen leuk is. Ook in de bibliotheken is van alles georganiseerd deze week. Otto is gistermiddag met de kinderen naar de bieb geweest, waar ze het boekje "Fiet wil rennen" hebben voorgelezen met een vertelkastje. Hierna mochten ze Fiet knutselen.
Op de computer mogen de kinderen af en toe een verhaaltje kijken. Een aanrader is de website: wepboek .

This week is all about the national reading out loud week. It started yesterday with a "reading-breakfast". My son was allowed to go to school in his payamas and got a croissant at school and a story was read. That was quite exiting of course! There is a childrens book for sale for 5 euros "Fiet wants to run" with the DVD in it. I think this is a great idea, because it stimulates people to read out loud to their kids and it shows kids that reading is fun. In the library's are a lot of activities for kids this week. Otto took the kids to the library yesterday , where they read out loud the book "Fiet wants to run" with a storycabinet. After this they could do some crafting and make "Fiet".
My kids are sometimes allowed to look at stories on the computer. An English website for this is: mightybook .
